We reached out to Loretta specifically because of her expertise with Italian records.  While we were able to gather and save a lot of records online for my husband's tree, we really had no understanding of the real content, other than a few key words.  I know too how easy it is to make a mistake and start researching the entirely wrong family.  The old handwriting can be very difficult to read, even if you are lucky enough to be able to read Italian.  Loretta was very generous with her time and we are amazed at the content in the records she has translated (and also interpreted) for us so far.  The Italian marriage processetti records can be especially rich in genealogical information, sometimes taking you back many generations.  Having the translation is really is like starting out in a dark room and then having someone turn on the lights.  On a personal note, she is really friendly and personable, extremely knowledgeable, and her enthusiasm for genealogy is apparent right away.  I am so happy that we found her, and feel very lucky that she is local.   - Jean in Haddonfield
